This bean strikes the fine balance necessary to be appealing to both an espresso enthusiast and a humble cappuccino consumer.
The flavor is bold - and admittedly dark - with a pleasant sweet aftertaste. As espresso, there is a definite undercurrent of nuts and a hit of spice. Some caramel and herbs, but not so far as for me to describe as chocolate or citrus. Texture is smooth with a wonderful crema. No bitterness, not tart.
10/10. Impresses the guests and the girlfriend, delicious late-night espresso. Will be a permanent favorite in my cupboard
